Compared with the market in previous years, my country's valve industry has developed rapidly in recent years. Not only has the variety of products increased a lot, but the quality has also improved a lot. However, compared with the international market conditions, my country's valves still need to be improved in many aspects. After relevant investigations, Edsen found that compared with foreign valves, the gap between the domestic valve market and the domestic valve market is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Comparison of technological innovation capabilities;
In terms of welding technology, Germany's KSB Company has widely used special welding powder for cobalt-free welding in order to meet the radiation-resistant requirements of sealing materials for nuclear-grade valves; France's Welland Valve Company will preheat before welding, automatic welding, and post-welding treatment. Completed on the same equipment or on the same processing line, no matter before, during, or after welding, the temperature can be automatically controlled to ensure welding quality. However, the domestic valve welding process is backward, and some still use old welding methods. The welder's technical level is low, and the welded materials are also ordinary materials, which cannot meet the special valve design requirements. Many companies are busy with production and marketing all day long, and rarely study and improve their processes.
2. There is an obvious gap in processing technology;
A French company's sales in 2005 were 300 million yuan, with exports accounting for 70% of sales. It has established a global sales network. A large number of the company's electrical equipment products are used in my country's metallurgy, papermaking, water treatment and oil and gas pipeline valves. In the field of nuclear power, their supply ranks second in the world, and their products are used in more than 70 nuclear power plants in France. In comparison, there are still many shortcomings in quality management in China. First of all, the process is more or less ignored. Many companies clearly have quality assurance systems, but they have no place to use them in actual work. Quality management is implemented on its own and at will; Secondly, the assembly process is also sloppy. No wonder some valves run, leak, drip and leak when installed.
3. Quality management and related equipment;
Insufficient technological innovation capabilities are a stumbling block to the development of our valve industry. At present, many domestic valve companies rarely innovate after introducing advanced technology. As a result, it is difficult for valve companies to export their products to Western markets.
Of course, gaps are not terrible. If handled well, gaps will become the driving force for enterprise progress. Therefore, for a long time in the future, valve companies should strengthen corporate management, promote technological progress, attach importance to technological innovation and research and development of core technologies, improve the core competitiveness of the company, and gain a foothold in the international market as soon as possible.
