[Abstract] This article details the installation steps of the static balance valve
1. The static balance valve can be installed on the return water pipeline or on the water supply pipeline (only one place is needed in each loop). It is recommended to install it on the return water pipeline. For primary loops, especially for high-temperature loops, in order to facilitate balance debugging, it is recommended to install the balance valve on the return water pipeline with low water temperature. The balance valve on the main pipe should be installed behind the water supply main pipe pump;
2. Since the balance valve has the flow metering function, in order to stabilize the water flow before and after the valve and ensure the measurement accuracy, the balance valve should be installed in the straight pipe section as much as possible;
3. Pay attention to the balance of water flow between the new system and the original system: the balance valve has good adjustment performance, and its resistance coefficient is higher than that of the general stop valve. When a new system equipped with a balance valve is connected to the original heating (cooling) pipe network, attention must be paid to the balance of water distribution between the new system and the original system, so as to avoid the water resistance of the new system (or the modified system) equipped with the balance valve being higher than that of the original system. The system is high and cannot reach the proper water flow;
(a)In order to connect the new system to the end of the original heating (cooling) pipe network, a balancing valve should be added to the original system;
(b)At least a balancing valve should be installed in the middle of the new system connecting the existing pipe network.
4. The opening of the balance valve should not be changed at will: After the pipe network system is installed and the test conditions are met, a dedicated intelligent instrument is used to dispatch and adjust all the balance valves, and the opening of each valve is locked, so that the pipe network can achieve hydraulic balance. Working conditions achieve energy-saving effects and good heating (cooling) quality. During the normal operation of the pipe network system, the opening of the balance valve should not be changed at will;
5. No need to install a stop valve: The essence of a static balance valve is a stop valve. When repairing a certain loop, the balance valve on the loop can be closed. At this time, the balance valve plays a role in blocking the water flow. After the maintenance is completed, return to the original locked position. Therefore, if the balance valve is installed, there is no need to install a stop valve;
6. When adding (or canceling) loops to the system, it should be re-debugged and adjusted: When adding (or canceling) loops to the pipe network system, in addition to adding (or closing) corresponding balance valves, in principle, all newly established balance valves and balance valves in the original system loop should be re-debugged and adjusted (branch balance valves in the original loop do not need to be re-adjusted) to achieve better heating (cooling) effects and energy-saving effects.
