Recently, the "Yuhuan Plumbing Valve" declared by the Yuhuan Plumbing Valve Industry Association was recognized as a "Zhejiang Regional Famous Brand" by the Zhejiang Famous Brand Strategy Promotion Committee, becoming the second provincial-level regional famous brand after "Yuhuan Automobile and Motorcycle Parts".
The plumbing valve industry is the second largest industry in our county's industry. It has more than 1350 production and processing enterprises, including 48 enterprises with an annual output value of over 100 million. It has the honorary titles of four national brand bases such as "China's Valve Capital". It is also a professional trademark brand base for valves in Zhejiang Province and a export base for plumbing valves in Zhejiang Province (Yuhuan). In 2014, the county's plumbing valves achieved an output value of 30.086 billion yuan, accounting for 21.01% of the county's total industrial output value, a year-on-year increase of 1.62%.
In July 2003, China Hardware Association officially awarded Yuhuan County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province as the "Valve Capital of China" at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, truly establishing Yuhuan's status in the domestic valve industry. Yuhuan's valve industry started in 1981 and is expected to reach production by the end of December. After more than 20 years of development, it has become the second pillar industry of Yuhuan's industry and a leading industry in foreign exchange earning through exports. It is also the second largest export product of Taizhou City after festive lights.
